This warm room features quarter-sawn and pegged white oak paneling. The walnut flooring in the bay window area is reminiscent of a harlequin design and was inspired by the beveled diamond glass found in the transoms. White oak floor planks mirror the coffered beams on the ceiling and walnut herringbone pieces fill the centerfield. A built-in wet bar has leaded glass doors that continue the diamond motif. Jim Murphy, of Interior Carpentry, designed and carved all the spectacular elements that appear on the fireplace, beams and bookcases. |
